Daily Luxury Vinyl Care
The first step for basic luxury vinyl care & maintenance is to work to remove dust, sand, and grit particles frequently by sweeping your floor. Don’t use a vacuum with a beater bar as it may scratch your floor, but you may use one without. It is important that you actively work to remove debris as it can scratch, scrape, and otherwise harm your luxury vinyl floor.
When sweeping or vacuuming does not remove the dirt, mop the floor with clean warm water. Be mindful when doing so to not let the water pool as this can harm your luxury vinyl floor.
Fortunately, luxury vinyl handles spills quite well. For most messes or spills, you can wipe them up immediately and use a clean cloth to wipe the cleaner onto the floor. It's that simple!
Make sure the floor’s manufacturer recommends any cleaners that you decide to use. Never use unknown substances on your floors without testing them first. It's always a good idea to consult your manufacturer's care guide before experimenting with new substances.
